Circle of Courage
“To have courage for whatever comes in life – Everything lies in that.” -Teresa of Avila
During the weekend, we’ll think about courage. Sometimes courage means leaving, gathering up every scrap of daring and setting out into worlds unknown. Sometimes courage means staying in place, choosing to look at an aspect of our lives differently, moving with intention into new terrain within the space of our own souls.
Our retreat, led by Mother Brenda, Reverend Christina, and Deacon Gigi, is a time when women of all ages and interests come together to experience spiritual renewal, a sense of peace and grow closer to this warm and welcoming sanctuary of women. At the lovely retreat center (Vina de Lestonnac) in the hills of Temecula, just an hour away, the weekend offers us time for learning, worship in new ways, small group sharing, rest, exercise and creative expression.
The cost of the weekend, including two nights lodging, all meals and retreat materials is $530.00 (single occupancy) and $380.00 per person (double occupancy), and $240.00 per person (triple occupancy). Accommodations are available on a first come, first serve basis. There are a limited number of single rooms, so early sign-up is advised. To register, please contact Debbie Hickson at deborahhickson@gmail.com or call 760-533-2808. Registration closes on February 28th. When you register, you may request a specific roommate and inform Debbie of any dietary restrictions.
Payment in full is due upon registration. Payment can be made through Easy Tithe at this link (look for Women’s Retreat in the drop down – and consider including the service fee in your payment) or by check. Please make your checks payable to St. Andrew’s with “Women’s Retreat” on the memo line and place it in the collection plate or in the Treasurer’s box on the wall in the office.
