Youth Confirmation Class
Youth interested in being confirmed must attend confirmation classes (be sure to register with Deacon Mindy!). There will also be a concurrent class for parents held in the conference room of the parish hall.

Community Table is a gathering of, by, and for those seeking deeper connections in the context of prayer and a simple supper. Nativity Pageant
Our children and youth will serve as the Holy Family, sheep, shepherds, angels, donkeys, and, of course, stars in our annual nativity pageant. Join us for a magical experience of the nativity story you won’t soon forget!

Order a beverage and get to know Matt Bosse, our Jr. Warden, aka "People's Warden". This is also a great way to connect with other parishioners as you share your appreciations, concerns and dreams. Matt will have appetizers ordered at a local restaurant every first Thursday. This month, we will meet at Casa de Bandini in Carlsbad.

Second Sunday Salon: Carol Sing-along
This month, we will have a special Second Sunday Salon: Carol Sing-along Edition! Meet in the nave after 10am worship and make a joyful noise as we sing all our favorites together.
December Women's Hike
Our December hike on Saturday December 7th is a recommendation from the Men's Hiking Group. It is the Santa Fe Valley Trail, which is an out & back, and reported to be "moderate" by All Trails, which means there are some steep climbs for a total of about 375 ft incline. There are no bathroom facilities.
We will meet at the Santa Fe Valley staging area at 10 AM.

St. Nicholas Visit & Advent Wreath Making
On the first Sunday of Advent we will welcome a special visitor: the REAL St. Nicholas, Bishop of Myra! Be sure to leave a shoe in the narthex so he can fill it with special treats. Then, after worship, everyone will get a chance to make their own advent wreath to take home.

Annual Savor Party and Chili Cook-Off
Our annual “savor” party is coming up and excitement is simmering! We will have a chili cook-off, petting zoo, pony rides, live music, grilled brats & dogs, a mustard tasting (bring your favorite!), and a silent auction. Plus, bring your historical heirlooms and family treasures: Parishioner Carol Edwards, who has been a certified generalist appraiser for over 24 years (and worked on PBS’ Antiques Roadshow!) will provide off-the-cuff fair market value appraisals for those who are interested (please no weapons; $5 donation).
